    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Scroll to “Personal
    3. Tap “Backup & reset” and enable “Back up my data” to back up Wi-Fi passwords, app data, and settings to your Google account
    4. Enable “Automatic restore” to allow app data, settings, and passwords to be restored automatically the next time you reinstall apps or sign in with the backup account

    Back Up and Restore Contacts:

    1. Launch “Settings
    2. Go to “Accounts
    3. Select an account type and the account you want to use for contact backup
    4. Tick the “Contacts” check box
    5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync now

    NOTE: You can restore contacts the next time you sign in with the backup account.

    Back Up Media Files on a Computer:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Copy and paste the files in the desired backup location on the computer
    5. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media file backups on the computer storage
    5. Copy and transfer the files in the desired backup location on the computer
    6. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
