    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Launch “Settings
    2. Scroll to “Personal
    3. Tap “Backup & reset
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, Wi-Fi passwords, and settings to your backup account
    5. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data, Wi-Fi passwords, and settings to be restored automatically the next time you reinstall the apps or sign in with the backup account

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Open “Contacts
    2. Go to “Accounts
    3. Select an account type and the account you want to use for the backup
    4. Tick the “Contacts” check box
    5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now

    NOTE: Contacts can be automatically restored the next time you log in with the backup account.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Copy and transfer the files in the desired backup location on the computer
    5. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media file backups on the computer storage
    5. Copy and paste the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory
    6. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
