    NOTE: You can visit this thread for instructions on how to back up app data, contacts, and media files.

    Restore App Data:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to the “General” tab if necessary
    3. Under “Phone management”, tap “Backup & reset”
    4. Tap “Restore from backup” under “LG Backup”
    5. Select the desired backup file then tap “Start” > “Done”

    NOTE: you may be required to reboot the device in order to complete the process.

    Restore Contacts:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. From the “General” tab, scroll to “Phone management” and tap “Backup & reset”
    3. Tap “Restore from backup” under “LG Backup”
    4. Select the desired backup
    5. Tap “Start”
    6. When prompted with “Restored”, tap “Done” and wait for the device to restart

    Restore Media Files:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Phone management” in the “General” tab
    3. Tap “Backup & reset”
    4. Under “LG Backup” tap “Restore from backup”
    5. Select the media file backups you want to restore then tap “Start”
    6. When prompted with “Restore completed” tap “Restart” to confirm and reboot your device

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the LG phone to the computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media sync” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate and copy the media file backups from the PC storage
    5. Paste the files to the phone storage, preferably in the folders of origin or the “Media” directory
    6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
