    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Scroll to “Personal
    3. Tap “Backup & reset
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, Wi-Fi passwords, and settings to your backup account
    5. Enable “Automatic restore” to allow app data, settings, and passwords to be restored automatically when signing in with the backup account or reinstall the apps

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Launch “Contacts
    2. Access “All contacts
    3. Select an account type
    4. Tap the account you want to use for syncing the contacts
    5. Tick the “Contacts” check box
    6. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now

    NOTE: You can restore contacts the next time you sign in with the backup account or by manually syncing them with the phone.

    Back Up Media Files on a PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media files on the phone storage
    5. Copy and paste the files to the desired backup location on the computer
    6. Once the process completes, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a PC:

    1. Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media file backups on the PC storage
    5. Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” folder
    6. Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device form the USB port
