    NOTE: You can visit this thread for a guide on how to back up app data, contacts, and media files.

    Restore App Data:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Access the “General” tab
    3. Tap “Backup & reset” under “Phone management
    4. Tap “Restore from backup” under “LG Backup
    5. Tap the desired backup file to restore
    6. Tap “Start” > “Done

    NOTE: You may have to reboot the phone to complete the restore.

    Restore Contacts:

    1. Launch “Settings
    2. If necessary, go to the “General” tab
    3. Scroll to “Phone management
    4. Tap “Backup & reset
    5. Scroll to “LG Backup” and tap “Restore from backup
    6. Select the desired backup and tap “Start
    7. At the “Restored” prompt, tap “Done

    Restore Media Files:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Access the “General” tab and tap “Phone management
    3. Tap “Backup & reset
    4. Tap “Restore from backup” under “LG Backup
    5. Select the media file backups you want to restore
    6. Tap “Start
    7. At the “Restore completed” prompt, tap “Restart

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the LG device to the PC via USB
    2. Enable “Media sync” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate and copy the media file backups from the PC
    5. Transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” folder or the directory of origin
    6. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
