    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access “Backup & Reset”
    3. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, settings, and passwords to your backup account
    4. Enable “Automatic restore” to be able and restore app data, settings, and passwords automatically the next time you sign in with the backup account or when reinstalling applications

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Launch “Contacts”
    2. Access “All contacts”
    3. Select an account type and tap the account to use for syncing contacts
    4. Ensure the “Contacts” check box is ticked
    5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

    NOTE: Contacts can be restored the next time you log in with the backup account or by manually syncing the account data – and contacts – with the phone.

    Back Up Media Files on a PC:

    1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the PC
    4. Navigate to the phone storage and copy the desired media files
    5. Transfer the files to the desired backup location on the PC
    6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB

    Restore Media Files from a PC:

    1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or form the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the PC
    4. Locate the media file backups on the PC and copy them
    5. Transfer the files to the phone storage in the folder(s) of origin
    6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
