    NOTE: For instructions on how to back up app data, contacts, and media files, visit this thread.

    Restore App Data:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Backup & reset”
    3. Access “LG Backup”
    4. Tap “Restore from backup”
    5. Select the desired backup file and tap “Start” > “Done”

    NOTE: You need to reboot the phone in order to finalize the process.

    Restore Contacts:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “Phone Management”
    3. Tap “Backup & reset”
    4. Tap “Restore from backup”
    5. Select the desired backup file and tap “Start” > “Done”

    NOTE: You need to reboot the phone in order for the process to complete.

    Restore Media Files:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “Phone Management”
    3. Tap “Backup & reset” > “Restore from backup”
    4. Select the media files you want to restore and tap “Start”
    5. Go to “Restore completed” and tap “Restart”

    Restore Media Files from a PC:

    1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media sync” on the phone, either when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media file backups on the computer
    5. Transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory
    6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
