    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access “Personal”
    3. Tap “Backup & Reset”
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to your backup account
    5. Enable “Automatic restore” to allow app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to be restored when reinstalling apps or signing in with the backup account

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type and the account you want to use for contact syncing
    4. Make sure “Contacts” is checked
    5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

    NOTE: Contacts can be restored automatically the next time you sign in with the backup account or by manually syncing the account data with the phone.

    Back Up Media Files on a PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media files on the computer
    5. Copy and transfer the files to the desired backup location on the PC
    6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

    Restore Media Files from a PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
    2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media backup files on the computer storage
    5. Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the folders from where they originate
    6. Once done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
