    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Backup & Reset”
    3. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, passwords, and settings to your backup account
    4. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data, settings, and passwords to be restored automatically when reinstalling apps or logging in with the account

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type and the desired account for syncing your contacts
    4. Ensure the “Contacts” check box is ticked
    5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

    NOTE: Contacts can be restored automatically the next time you log in with the backup account or when you manually sync the account data with the device.

    Back Up Media Files on a PC:

    1. Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or form the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Navigate to the media files on the phone
    5. Copy and transfer the files to the desired backup location on the PC
    6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB

    Restore Media Files from a PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the backup media files on the PC
    5. Copy and transfer the files to the phone, preferably in the folders of origin
    6. After the transfer ends, you can safely disconnect the device from the USB port
