    Reset Network Settings:

NOTE: By resetting network settings, all your saved Wi-Fi and Bluetooth networks will be deleted, and network selection mode, background sync settings, and data restrictive settings will be restored to default values.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “General Management”
    3. Tap “Reset” > “Reset network settings”
    4. If the device is protected by a lock screen, enter your PIN/password to proceed
    5. Tap “Reset settings”

    Factory Reset

WARNING! When you factory reset your phone, all your personal data stored on the device’s internal memory, including ringtones and media files, contacts, apps, downloaded content etc. will be deleted. However data located on the SIM and SD cards won’t be affected.

NOTE: Before you reset the phone, you can check this thread for a guide on how to back up data, and this thread for a guide on how to restore data.

    Hard Reset via Settings:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Go to “Sound and accounts” and tap “Backup and restore
    3. Optionally, turn “Back up my data” and “Restore” ON or OFF
    4. Return to “Settings” and access “General management
    5. Tap “Reset” > “Factory data reset” > “Reset device
    6. If your phone is protected by a lock screen, enter your password/PIN and tap “Continue
    7. Tap “Delete all

    Hard Retting via Android Recovery:

NOTE: If your phone crashes, freezes, or otherwise prevents you from resetting it via settings, you can try resetting the device from the Android Recovery menu instead.

    1. First make sure the phone is turned off
    2. Press and hold “Home” and “Volume Up” at the same time, then press and release “Power
    3. When the Android screen appears, release the buttons and wait for the Recovery menu
    4. Navigate the Recovery menu by pressing “Volume down” repeatedly and highlight “Wipe data/factory reset
    5. Press “Power” to confirm the highlighted selection
    6. Highlight “Yes – delete all user data” and press “Power
    7. Once done, ensure “Reboot system now” is highlighted and press “Power” one last time
