I've been meaning to get a cell phone for years, but I never get around to it. This morning I had to sit around while my car was taking longer than I expected to be repaired and I couldn't call work to tell them about it, so I really am wanting to get a phone now. I prefer a flip phone but don't want to have to jump through a lot of hoops to use any of the cool old phones, I'll get a newer GSM type phone, and it doesn't have to be a flip but I want something rugged with long battery life. I really like the Samsung Rugby 3's and similar, but I'm open to suggestions. My main problem is finding a plan to go with the phone I get - I'm looking at Republic Wireless and H2O right now - republic seems to be limited on phones, more than H20. Any comments on these two providers or any other suggestions you can give me on phones, providers or plans. I really just want something that can sit in my car or pocket for days or weeks at a time until I need to make a call on the go. thanks in advance!!
