    Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
    2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the audio files on the computer
    5. Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Notifications” and “Ringtones” directories
    6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

    Change the General Ringtone:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Device’
    3. Tap “Sound”
    4. Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
    5. Tap “OK”

    Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

    NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM card.

    1. Launch “Contacts”
    2. Select the desired contact
    3. Tap “Edit” > “More”
    4. Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
    5. Press “OK”

    Change Incoming Email Alert Sounds:

    1. Open “Email”
    2. Tap “Menu”
    3. Go to “Settings” > “Account & Sync”
    4. Select the desired email account
    5. Enable “New Emails”
    6. Go to “Notification sound”
    7. Select the desired ringtone and turn “Vibrate” On or Off

    Change Emergency Alert Settings:

    1. Launch “Messages”
    2. Tap “Menu”
    3. Go to “Settings” > “Advanced settings”
    4. Tap “More” > “Emergency alerts”
    5. Under “Receive alerts” turn “Imminent severe alerts” “Imminent extreme alerts” and “AMBER alerts”
    6. Under “Sound and vibrate” turn “Alert vibration” and “Alert sound” ON or OFF
