Back Up App Data:

1. Open “Settings”
2. Access “Phone Management”
3. Tap “Backup & reset”
4. Go to “Google Backup” and enable “Back up my data”

Back Up Contacts to an LG Account:

1. Launch “Settings”
2. Access “Phone management”
3. Tap “Backup & Reset” > “LG Backup”
4. Tap “Backup & restore”
5. Tap “Back up my data” > “SD storage”
6. Log in with your LG account and select “Personal data”
7. Deselect the other options and expand “Personal data”
8. Make sure” Contacts” is checked
9. When ready, tap “Start” > “Done”

Back Up Contacts to SD Storage:

1. Open “Settings”
2. Go to “Phone management” > “Backup & Reset”
3. Access “LG Backup & Restore” > “Backup data”
4. Tap “SD card”
5. Select the desired contacts then tap “Start” > “Done”

Back Up Media Files:

1. Launch “Settings”
2. Tap “Backup & Reset” under “Phone management”
3. Go to “LG Backup”
4. Tap “Backup & Restore”
5. Select “Media data” and deselect the other options
6. Expand “Media data” and select the media files you want to back up
7. Tap “Start” > “Done”

Back Up Media Files on a PC:

1. Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification area
3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
4. Locate the media backup files or the “.sbf” files on the phone
5. Copy and paste the files to the desired backup location on the computer
6. Once done, eject the phone storage and sagely disconnect the device form the USB port
