    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Access “Personal
    3. Tap “Backup & Reset
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to your backup account
    5. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to be restored automatically the next time you log in with the backup account or reinstall apps

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Launch “Settings
    2. Go to “Accounts
    3. Select an account type
    4. Tap the account you want to use for contact syncing
    5. Make sure the “Contacts” check box is ticked and tap “Menu” > “Sync Now

    NOTE: Contacts can be automatically restored the next time you log in with the backup account or by manually syncing the account data, and contacts, with the Android phone.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / ‘Media device” on the phone at the prompt or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Navigate to the media files located on the phone storage
    5. Copy and paste the files to the desired backup location on the PC
    6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
    2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media backup files on the PC
    5. Copy and paste the files to the phone storage in the folders of origin
    6. After the process completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
