    Back Up App Data:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “Cloud and account”
    3. Tap “Backup & Restore”
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to your backup account
    5. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to be restored automatically when reinstalling apps or signing in with the backup account

    Back Up Contacts:

    1. Launch “Contacts”
    2. Access “Cloud and account”
    3. Tap “Accounts”
    4. Select the desired account for contact syncing
    5. Ensure “Contacts” is checked then tap “Menu” > “Sync Now’

    Back Up Contacts to SD Storage:

    1. Open “Contacts”
    2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
    3. Switch to “All contacts” if necessary
    4. Tap “Import/Export” > “Export to SD”
    5. Tap “OK”

    Back Up Media Files to Phone Storage:

    1. Launch “My Files”
    2. Access “Internal storage”
    3. Tap “Menu” > “Share”
    4. Select the desired contacts and tap “Share”
    5. Choose a backup location

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
    2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the PC
    4. Locate the media files on the phone
    5. Copy and paste the files to the desired backup location on the PC
    6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Back Up Media Files from a Mac:

    NOTE: Skip the first 3 steps if Samsung Kies is already installed on the Mac

    1. Launch the Internet browser on the Mac
    2. Head down to https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/kies/
    3. Click “Download for Mac” and install Kies
    4. Connect the Android phone to the Mac via USB
    5. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” on the phone either when prompted or from the Notification shade
    6. Open Kies on the Mac and go to the “Back up / Restore” tab
    7. Access “Backup” and tick the boxes associated with the media file types you want to back up
    8. Click “Backup” to begin the process
    9. Once the process completes, eject the phone storage by dragging the virtual drive from the desktop and dropping it over the trash can
    10. Safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
