    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Launch Settings
    2. Go to Personal
    3. Tap Backup & Reset
    4. Enable Back up my data to back up app data, setting, and Wi-Fi passwords to your backup account
    5. Enable Automatic Restore to allow app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to be restored automatically when reinstalling apps or logging in with the backup account

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Open Settings
    2. Access Accounts
    3. Select an account type and the desired account
    4. Ensure Contacts is checked
    5. Tap Menu > Sync Now

    NOTE: Contacts can be restored automatically the next time you log in with the backup account or by manually syncing the account data, including contacts, with the Android device.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
    2. On the phone, enable Media device / File Transfer at the prompt or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the PC and locate the media files on the phone
    4. Copy and paste the files to the desired backup location on the computer
    5. Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a PC:

    1. Establish a USB connection between the Android phone and PC
    2. Enable File Transfer / Media device on the phone, when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the PC
    4. Locate the media backup files on the computer storage
    5. Transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the folders of origin
    6. Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
