    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access “Personal” and tap “Backup & Reset”
    3. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, settings, and passwords to your backup account
    4. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data, settings, and passwords to be restored automatically when reinstalling apps or logging in with the backup account

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type and the desired account for syncing contacts
    4. Make sure the “Contacts” check box is ticked
    5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

    NOTE: Contacts can be restored automatically when logging in with the backup account or by manually syncing the account data with the device.

    Back Up Media Files on a PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
    2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media files on the phone
    5. Copy and transfer the files to the desired backup location on the PC
    6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
    2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Copy and transfer the backup files to the phone storage in the folders of origin
    5. Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
