    Enable Battery Saving Mode:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Device”
    3. Tap “Battery” > “Menu’
    4. Enable “Battery saver”

    Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down
    2. In the quick toggle area, drag the brightness slider towards the left
    3. Launch “Settings”
    4. Go to “Display” and optionally, turn “Adaptive brightness’ ON or OFF
    5. For timeout duration, go to “Settings” and select a lower timeout value like “15 seconds”

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

    NOTE: You can turn the phone’s connectivity feature Off when not actively in use, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Hotspot, and GPS, to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Swipe the Status bar down
    2. Tap the “Bluetooth” “Location” and “Wi-Fi” quick toggles to disable the features
    3. Open “Settings”
    4. Access “Location” for GPS options
    5. Tap “Mode” and enable “Battery saving”
    6. Return to “Settings”
    7. Tap “more” under “Wireless & Networks”
    8. Disable “Tethering & mobile hotspot”

    Switch to 2G Networks Temporarily:

    NOTE: If your phone runs low on battery and you don’t have quick access to a battery bank or wall socket, you can conserve energy until the next recharge by temporarily switching to 2G networks.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Tap “More” under “Wireless & Networks”
    3. Access “Mobile networks”
    4. Tap “preferred network type”
    5. Enable “2G”

    Minimize Third-Party App Usage:

    NOTE: Certain third-party apps perform regular background processes which can potentially affect battery life when they are not actively in use. You can remove or disable unused third-party apps to potentially improve battery life.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Apps”
    3. Switch to “Downloaded” or “All apps’ if necessary
    4. Select the desired app
    5. To turn the app off, tap “Force Stop” / “Disable”
    6. To remove the app tap “uninstall”

    Change Sync Settings:

    NOTE: You can change your accounts’ settings to reduce sync and potentially improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type
    4. Tap the desired account
    5. Change the available settings to reduce sync as desired

    Keep the OS Up To Date:

    NOTE: OS updates can improve battery life and it’s recommended to keep the OS updated at all times.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “About phone”
    3. Tap “System updates”
    4. Check if new updates are available
    5. If so, follow the prompts to download and apply the update
