    NOTE: You can check this thread for a guide on how to back up media files, app data, and contacts on the phone.

    Restore Contacts from SD Storage:

    1. Open “Contacts
    2. Tap “Menu
    3. Go to “Settings” and access “Contacts to display
    4. Select “All contacts
    5. Tap “Import/Export contacts” > “Import from SD card
    6. Tap “OK” to confirm

    Restore Media Files from SD:

    1. Open “My Files
    2. Go to “SD Card
    3. Tap “Menu” > “Edit
    4. Tick the boxes associated with the media files you want to restore
    5. Tap “Menu” > “Move
    6. Tap “Internal storage” > “Move here” or “Create folder
    7. Select the desired folder and tap “move here

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
    2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the PC
    4. Copy and paste the files to the phone storage, preferably in the folders of origin
    5. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a Mac:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the Mac via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” on the phone, either when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Open Kies on the Mac
    4. Go to the “Back up / Restore” tab
    5. Access “Restore” and tick the boxes linked with the media files you want to restore
    6. Click “Restore” and follow the prompts
    7. Once done, eject the phone storage by dragging the virtual drive from the desktop and dropping it over the trash can
    8. Safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
