    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Personal” and access “Backup & Reset”
    3. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, Wi-Fi passwords, and settings to your backup account
    4. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data, settings, and passwords to be restored automatically when signing in with the backup account or when reinstalling apps

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Accounts”
    3. Tap an account type
    4. Select the desired account for contact syncing
    5. Make sure “Contacts” is checked
    6. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

    NOTE: Contacts can be restored automatically when logging in with the backup account or by manually syncing the account data with the phone.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
    2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the PC
    4. Navigate to the media files on the phone
    5. Copy and transfer the files to the desired backup location on the PC
    6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord

    Restore Media Files form a PC:

    1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” on the phone, either when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the PC
    4. Copy and transfer the media backup files to the phone storage in the folders of origin
    5. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
