    Enable Battery Saving Mode:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Device”
    3. Tap “Battery”
    4. Tap “Menu” and enable “Battery saver”

Lower the Screen Brightens and Timeout Duration:

    1. On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down
    2. Drag the brightness slider in the quick toggle area towards the left
    3. Open “Settings” and access “Display”
    4. Optionally, turn “Adaptive display” On or Off
    5. For timeout settings, access “Sleep” and select a low value like “15 seconds”

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

NOTE: by disabling the phone’s connectivity features when not actively in use, such as Wi-Fi, Hotspot, GPS, and Bluetooth, you can avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life.

    1. Swipe the Status bar down
    2. Tap the “Wi-Fi” “Bluetooth” and “Location” quick toggles to disable the features
    3. Open “Settings” and access “Location”
    4. Tap “Mode” and enable “Battery saving”
    5. Return to “Settings” and tap “More” under “Wireless & Networks”
    6. Disable “Tethering & Mobile hotspot”

    Switch to 2G Networks Temporarily:

NOTE: If your phone runs low on energy and you don’t have quick access to a wall socket or battery bank, you can conserve energy until the next recharge by temporarily switching to 2G networks.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Expand the menu under “Wireless & Networks”
    3. Go to “Mobile networks” > “preferred network type”
    4. Enable “2G”

    Minimize Third-Party App Usage:

NOTE: Certain third-party apps perform regular background processes which can affect the phone’s battery life even when they are not actively in use. By removing or disabling unused third-party apps, you might improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Apps”
    3. Switch to “Downloaded” or “All apps”
    4. Select the desired app
    5. Tap “Force Stop” / “Disable”
    6. Alternatively tap “Uninstall” to remove the app

    Change Sync Settings:

NOTE: You might improve battery life by reducing the amount of data synced by your accounts and apps.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type and account
    4. Change the available settings to reduce sync as desired

    Keep the OS Updated:

NOTE: OS updates can improve battery life and it’s recommended to keep the OS up to date at all times.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access “About phone”
    3. Tap “System updates”
    4. Check if new updates are available
    5. If applicable, follow the prompts to download and apply the update
