Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
    2. On the phone, enable “File transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the Notification shade
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer and navigate to the audio files on the PC
    4. Copy and paste the files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and “Notifications” directories
    5. After the process is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

    Change the General Ringtone:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access “Sound & Notification”
    3. Tap the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
    4. Optionally, enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”

    Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or SIM card.

    1. Launch “Contacts”
    2. Tap and hold the desired contact
    3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
    4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”

    Change the Notification Alert Sound:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Sound & Notification”
    3. Tap “Default notification ringtone” and select the desired notification ringtone
    4. Tap “OK”
