    Enable Battery Saving Mode:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Device”
    3. Tap “Battery”
    4. Tap “Menu” and enable “Battery saver”

Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down
    2. In the quick toggle area, drag the brightness slider towards the left
    3. Launch “Settings” for more options
    4. Access “Display” and optionally, enable or disable “Adaptive brightness”
    5. For timeout settings, tap “Sleep” and select a lower value like “15 seconds”

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

NOTE: You can turn the phone’s connectivity features Off when they are not actively in use, including Wi-Fi, GPS, Hotspot, and Bluetooth, to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life.

    1. On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down
    2. Tap the “Wi-Fi” “Location” and “Bluetooth” quick toggles to disable the feature
    3. Open “Settings”
    4. Go to “Location” for more GPS options
    5. Tap “Mode” and enable “Battery saving”
    6. Return to “Settings” and expand “Wireless & Networks”
    7. Then turn “Tethering & mobile hotspot” Off

    Temporarily Switch to 2G Networks:

NOTE: If your phone runs low on battery and you don’t have quick access to a wall socket or battery bank, you can conserve energy until the next recharge by temporarily switching to 2G networks.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Expand “Wireless & Networks”
    3. Tap “Mobile networks” > “Preferred network type”
    4. Enable “2G”

    Minimize Third-Party App Usage:

NOTE: Certain third-party apps perform regular background processes which can potentially affect the phone’s battery life even when the apps are not actively in use. By removing or disabling unused third-party apps, you might improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Apps” and if necessary, switch to “All apps’ or “Downloaded’
    3. Select the desired app and tap “Disable” / “Force Stop’
    4. To remove the app instead, tap “uninstall”

    Change Sync Settings:

NOTE: By changing the sync settings of your accounts or apps to reduce sync, you might improve battery life.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type and the desired account
    4. Change the settings to reduce sync as desired

    Keep the OS Updated:

NOTE: OS updates can improve battery life so it’s recommended to keep the OS up to date at all times.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “About phone”
    3. Tap “System updates”
    4. Check if new updates are available for download
    5. If applicable, follow the prompts to download and apply the updates
