    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Go to “Personal” and access “Backup & Reset
    3. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to your backup account
    4. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data, settings, and passwords to be restored when signing in with the backup account or reinstalling apps

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Launch “Settings
    2. Go to “Accounts
    3. Select an account type
    4. Tap the desired account to use for syncing contacts
    5. Make sure “Contacts” is checked
    6. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now

    NOTE: Contacts can be restored automatically the next time you log in with the backup account, or by manually syncing the account data with the phone.

    Back up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” on the phone at the prompt or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Navigate to the media files on the phone
    5. Copy and transfer the files to the desired backup location on the PC
    6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a PC:

    1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” on the phone
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer and navigate to the media file backups located on the computer
    4. Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the folders of origin
    5. Once done, eject the phone storage from the computer and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
