    Enable Battery Saving Mode:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Device”
    3. Tap “Battery” > “Menu”
    4. Enable “Battery saver”

Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down
    2. In the quick toggle area, drag the brightness slider towards the left
    3. Open “Settings” for more options
    4. Access “Display”
    5. Optionally, enable or disable “Adaptive brightness”
    6. For timeout options, tap “Sleep” and select a lower value such as “15 seconds”

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

NOTE: You can turn the phone’s connectivity features Off when not actively in use, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Hotspot, and GPS, to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life in the long run.

    1. On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down
    2. Tap the “Wi-Fi” “Location” and “Bluetooth” quick toggles to disable the features
    3. Open “Settings”
    4. Go to “Location” for GPS options
    5. Tap “Mode” and enable “Battery saving”
    6. Return to “Settings” and expand “Wireless & Networks”
    7. Disable “Tethering & mobile hotspot”

    Switch to 2G Networks Temporarily:

NOTE: If your device runs low on battery and you don’t have quick access to a wall socket or battery bank, you can conserve energy until the next recharge by temporarily switching to 2G networks.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access “Wireless & Networks”
    3. Go to “Mobile networks” > “Preferred network type”
    4. Enable “2G”

    Minimize Third-Party App Usage:

NOTE: Certain third-party apps perform regular background processes which can potentially affect the device’s battery life even when the apps are not actively in use. By disabling or removing unused third-party apps, you might improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “Apps”
    3. Switch to “All apps” or “Downloaded” if necessary
    4. Select the desired app
    5. Tap “Force Stop” / “Disable” to turn the app off, or:
    6. Tap “Uninstall” to remove the app from the device

    Change Sync Settings:

NOTE: You can improve battery life in the long run by changing your account’s settings to reduce sync.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type
    4. Tap the desired account and change the available settings to reduce sync

    Keep the OS Updated:

NOTE: OS updates can improve the battery and as such it’s recommended to keep the OS updated at all times.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “About phone”
    3. Tap “System updates”
    4. Check if new updates are available
    5. If updates are available, follow the prompts to download and apply them
