    5. Tap the “Power saver” switch ON

Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Display & gestures”
    3. Tap “Brightness level”
    4. Optionally, you can disable “Adaptive brightness”
    5. Drag the brightness slider towards the left to decrease luminosity
    6. For screen timeout options, go to “Screen timeout”
    7. Select a lower value

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

NOTE: You can potentially improve battery life in the long run by disabling the phone’s connectivity features whenever they are not in use to avoid unnecessary network scans, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Hotspot, and GPS.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Tap the “Wi-Fi” and “Bluetooth” switches to disable the features
    3. Open “Location” for more GPS options
    4. Tap “mode” > “Battery saving”
    5. Return to “Settings” for hotspot options, then expand “Wireless & Networks”
    6. Go to “Mobile network sharing”
    7. Disable “Mobile Hotspot”

    Switch to 2G Networks Temporarily:

NOTE: If your phone runs low on battery, you can conserve energy until the next recharge by temporarily switching to 2G networks.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access “Mobile data”
    3. Tap “Network mode”
    4. Enable “GSM only”

    Minimize Third-Party App Usage:

NOTE: Certain third-party apps perform regular background processes which can potentially affect the phone’s battery life even when the apps are not actively in use. By removing or disabling unused third-party apps, you might improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Apps”
    3. Switch to “All” or “Downloaded” if necessary
    4. Select the desired app
    5. Tap “Disable” or tap “Uninstall” > “OK” to remove the app

    Change Sync Settings:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Accounts & Sync”
    3. Select an account and change the available settings to reduce sync as desired

    Keep the OS Updated:

NOTE: OS updates can improve battery life and it’s recommended to keep the OS up to date at all times.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “About phone”
    3. Tap “System updates”
    4. Tap “Check now” to see if new updates are available
    5. If applicable, follow the prompts to download and apply them. The update process will require at least one reboot
