    NOTE: You can check this thread for a guide on how to back up data.

    Restore App Data:

    1. Connect the phone to an active Wi-Fi network
    2. Launch “Settings”
    3. Go to “Backup and reset”
    4. Tap “Restore from HTC backup” and follow the prompts to complete the process

    Restore Contacts from an Account:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Personal”
    3. Tap “Accounts & Sync”
    4. Sign in with your HTC or Google backup account
    5. Ensure “Contacts” is checked
    6. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

    Restore Media Files from a PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
    2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media file backups on the PC
    5. Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage in the “Media” directory or the folders of origin
    6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
