Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    2. In the quick toggle area, drag the brightness slider towards the left
    3. Open “Settings” for more options
    4. Access “Display” and optionally, enable or disable “Adaptive brightness”
    5. Tap “Sleep” for timeout settings and select a lower value

    Enable Battery Saving Mode:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access “Device”
    3. Tap “Battery”
    4. Tap “Menu” and enable “Battery saver”

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

NOTE: You can disable the phone’s connectivity features when not actively in use, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Hotspot, and GPS, to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life.

    1. Swipe the Status bar down on the home screen
    2. Tap the “Wi-Fi” “Bluetooth” and “Location” (GPS) quick toggles to turn the features Off
    3. Open “Settings” and go to “Location” for more GPS settings
    4. Tap “mode” and enable “Battery saving”
    5. Return to “Settings” and expand “Wireless & Networks”
    6. Disable “Tethering & mobile hotspot”

    Switch to 2G Networks Temporarily:

NOTE: If your device runs low on battery and you don’t have quick access to a wall socket or battery bank, you can conserve energy until the next recharge by temporarily switching to 2G networks.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Expand “Wireless & networks”
    3. Access “Mobile networks” > “Preferred network type”
    4. Select “2G”

    Change Sync Settings:

NOTE: You might improve battery life by reducing the amount of data synced by your accounts.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type and the desired account
    4. Change the available settings to reduce sync as desired

    Minimize Third-Party App Usage:

NOTE: Certain third-party apps perform regular background processes and that can potentially affect battery life even when the apps are not actively in use. By removing or disabling unused third-party apps, you might improve battery life.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Apps” and switch to “Downloaded” or “All apps” if necessary
    3. Select the desired app
    4. Tap “Force Stop” / “Disable”
    5. To remove the app, tap “uninstall”

    Keep the OS Updated:

NOTE: OS updates can improve battery life and it’s recommended to keep the OS up to date at all times.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “About phone” > “System updates”
    3. Check if new updates are available
    4. Follow the prompts to download and apply available updates
