    Enable Battery Saving Mode:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Device” and tap “Battery”
    3. Tap “Menu”
    4. Enable “Battery saver”

    Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. Swipe the Status bar on the home screen
    2. In the quick toggle area, drag the brightness slider towards the left
    3. Launch “Settings”
    4. Access “Display”
    5. Optionally, turn “Adaptive brightness” ON or OFF
    6. For timeout options, tap “Sleep” and select a lower value

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

    NOTE: You can disable the phone’s connectivity features when not actively in use, such as Wi-Fi, Hotspot, Bluetooth, and GPS to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Drag the notification bar down on the home screen
    2. From the quick toggle area, tap the “Wi-Fi” “Location” and “Bluetooth” quick toggles to turn the features Off
    3. Launch “Settings” and go to “Location”
    4. Tap “Mode” and enable “Battery saving”
    5. Return to “Settings” and expand “Wireless & Networks”
    6. Disable “Tethering & mobile Hotspot”

    Switch to 2G Networks Temporarily:

    NOTE: If your phone runs low on battery and you don’t have quick access to a battery bank or wall socket, you can conserve energy until the next recharge by temporarily switching to 2G networks.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Wireless & Networks”
    3. Tap “Mobile Networks” > “Preferred network type”
    4. Enable “2G”

    Minimize Third-Party App Usage:

    NOTE: Some third-party apps perform regular background processes which can potentially affect the device’s battery life even when the apps are not actively in use. by disabling or removing unused third-party apps, you might improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “Apps”
    3. Switch to “Downloaded” or “All apps” and select the desired app
    4. Tap “Force Stop” / “Disable”
    5. Alternatively, tap “Uninstall” to remove the app from the device

    Change Sync Settings:

    NOTE: You might be able to improve battery life by reducing the amount of data synced by your accounts.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type and account
    4. Change the available settings to reduce sync as desired

    Keep the OS Updated:

    NOTE: OS updates can improve battery life and thus it’s recommended to keep the OS updated at all times.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “About phone”
    3. Tap “System updates” and check if new updates are available
    4. Follow the prompts to complete the process if applicable
