    Enable Battery Saving Mode:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Access “Device
    3. Tap “Battery
    4. Tap “Menu” and enable “Battery saver

    Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. Swipe the Status bar down on the home screen
    2. Drag the brightness slider towards the left in the quick toggle area
    3. Launch “Settings
    4. Access “display” and turn “Adaptive brightness’ On or Off
    5. Tap “Sleep” for timeout duration and select a lower value

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

    NOTE: You can turn the phone’s connectivity features Off when they are not in use, such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Hotspot, to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life.

    1. Swipe the Status bar down on the home screen
    2. From the quick toggle area, tap “Bluetooth” “Wi-Fi” and “Location” quick toggles to disable the features
    3. Launch “Settings” and go to “Location” for GPS options
    4. Tap Menu” and enable “Battery saving
    5. Return to “Settings
    6. Expand “Wireless & Networks” and disable “Tethering & Mobile hotspot

    Switch to 2G Networks Temporarily:

    NOTE: If your phone runs low on battery and you don’t have quick access to a battery bank or wall socket, you can conserve energy until the next recharge by switching temporarily to 2G networks.

    1. Launch “Settings
    2. Go to “Wireless & Networks
    3. Tap “Mobile networks
    4. Access “Preferred network type
    5. Enable “2G

    Change Sync Settings:

    NOTE: You might improve battery life by reducing the amount of data synced by your accounts.

    1. Launch “Settings
    2. Go to “Accounts” and select an account type
    3. Select an account and change the available settings to reduce sync

    Minimize Third-Party Apps:

    NOTE: Some third-party apps perform regular background processes which can potentially affect the device’s battery life even when the apps are not in use. You might improve battery life by removing or disabling unused third-party apps from the phone.

    1. Launch “Settings
    2. Go to “Apps
    3. Switch to “Downloaded” or “All apps
    4. Select the desired app
    5. Tap “Force Stop” / “Disable
    6. Alternatively, tap “Uninstall

    Keep the OS Up To Date:

    NOTE: OS updates can improve battery life and as such it’s recommended to keep the OS up to date at all times.

    1. Launch “Settings
    2. Access “About phone
    3. Tap “System updates
    4. Check if new updates are available
    5. If applicable, follow the prompts to complete the process
