    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

NOTE: You can disable the phone’s connectivity features when not in use, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Hotspot, and GPS, to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life.

    1. On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down
    2. In the quick toggle area, tap “Wi-Fi” “Location” and “Bluetooth” quick toggles to turn the features Off
    3. Open “Settings”

    Switch to 2G Networks Temporarily:

NOTE: If your device runs low on battery and you don’t have quick access to a wall socket or battery bank, you can conserve energy until the next recharge by temporarily switching to 2G networks.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access “Wireless & Networks”
    3. Tap “Mobile networks” > “Preferred network type”
    4. Turn “2G” ON

    Minimize Third-Party App Usage:

NOTE: Certain third-party apps perform regular background processes which can potentially affect the phone’s battery life even when the apps are not actively in use. You might improve battery life by disabling or removing unused third-party apps from the device.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access” Apps”
    3. Switch to “All apps” or “Downloaded”
    4. Tap the desired application
    5. To disable the app, tap “Force Stop” / “Disable”
    6. To remove the app, tap “Uninstall”

    Change Sync Settings:

NOTE: You might be able to improve battery life by reducing the amount of data synced by your accounts.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access “Accounts”
    3. Tap the desired account type and account
    4. Change the available settings to reduce sync as desired

    Keep the OS Updated:

NOTE: OS Updates can improve battery life and thus you should keep the OS up to date at all times.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “About phone”
    3. Tap “System updates” and check if new updates are available for download
    4. If applicable, follow the prompts to download and apply the updates
