    Enable Battery Saving Mode:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Device”
    3. Tap “Battery” > “Menu”
    4. Enable “Battery saver”

Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down
    2. Drag the brightness slider towards the left
    3. Open “Settings”
    4. Go to “Display”
    5. Optionally, turn “Adaptive brightness ON or OFF
    6. For timeout options, tap “Sleep” and select a lower value

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

NOTE: You can disable the phone’s connectivity features when not actively in use to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Swipe the Status bar down on the home screen
    2. Tap the “Location” “Bluetooth” and “Wi-Fi” quick toggles to disable the features
    3. Open “Settings” and access “Location” for more GPS settings
    4. Tap “Menu” and enable “Battery saving”
    5. Go back to “Settings” and expand “Wireless & Networks”
    6. Disable “Tethering & Mobile hotspot”

    Switch to 2G Networks:

NOTE: If your device runs low on battery and you don’t have quick access to a wall socket or battery bank, you can conserve energy until the next recharge by switching to 2G networks temporarily.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Wireless & Networks”
    3. Tap “Mobile networks” > “Preferred network type”
    4. Enable “2G”

    Change Sync Settings:

NOTE: You can potentially improve battery life by reducing the amount of data synced by your accounts.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type and the desired account
    4. Change the available settings to reduce sync as desired

    Minimize Third-Party App Usage:

NOTE: Certain third-party apps perform regular background processes which can potentially affect the device’s battery life even when the apps are not actively in use. By removing or disabling unused third-party apps, you can improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access “Apps”
    3. Switch to “All apps” or “Downloaded” if necessary
    4. Select the desired app and tap “Force Stop” / “Disable”
    5. To remove the app, tap “Uninstall”

    Keep the OS Updated:

NOTE: OS updates can improve battery life and thus it’s recommended to keep the OS up to date at all times. To check for updates:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “About phone”
    3. Tap “System updates” and check if new updates are available
    4. If so, follow the prompts to download and apply the update
