    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “Personal” and tap “Backup & Reset”
    3. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to your backup account
    4. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data, settings, and passwords to be automatically restored when reinstalling apps or logging in with the backup account

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Open “Contacts”
    2. Go to “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type and the desired account
    4. Make sure “Contacts” is checked then tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

    NOTE: Contacts can be automatically restored the next time you want to log in with the backup account or by syncing the account data manually with the phone.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
    2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media files on the phone
    5. Copy and paste the files to the desired backup location on the PC
    6. Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” on the phone at the prompt or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media backup files on the PC
    5. Copy and paste the files to the phone storage preferably in the folders of origin
    6. Once the process completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
