    2. Go to “Device”
    3. Tap “Battery” > “Menu”
    4. Enable “Battery saver”

Adjust Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. Swipe the Status bar down on the home screen
    2. Drag the brightness slider from the quick toggle area towards the left
    3. Open “Settings” and access “Display”
    4. Optionally, enable or disable “Adaptive brightness”
    5. Tap “Sleep” for timeout options and select a lower value like “15 seconds”

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

NOTE: You can turn the phone’s connectivity features Off when not actively in use, like Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and Hotspot, to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life.

    1. Swipe the Status bar down on the home screen
    2. Tap the “Bluetooth” “Wi-Fi” and “Location” (GPS) quick toggles to disable the features
    3. Launch “Settings” and go to “Location” for GPS settings
    4. Tap “mode” and enable “Battery saving”
    5. Return to “Settings” and tap “more” under “Wireless & Networks”
    6. Disable “Tethering & Mobile Hotspot”

    Temporarily Switch to 2G Networks:

NOTE: If your phone runs low on battery and you don’t have quick access to a battery bank or wall socket, you can conserve energy until the next recharge by switching temporarily to 2G networks.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Expand “Wireless & Networks”
    3. Access “Mobile networks” > “Preferred network type”
    4. Enable “2G”

    Minimize Third-Party App Usage:

NOTE: Certain third-party apps perform regular background processes which can potentially affect the phone’s battery life even when the apps are not actively in use. You might be able to improve battery life in the long run by disabling or removing unused third-party apps.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Apps’
    3. Switch to “All apps” or “Downloaded” if necessary
    4. Select the desired app
    5. Tap “Disable” / ‘Force Stop”
    6. To remove the app, tap “Uninstall”

    Change Sync Settings:

NOTE: You can change your accounts’ settings to reduce sync and potentially improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type and the desired account
    4. Change the available settings to reduce sync as desired

Keep the OS Up To Date:

NOTE: OS updates can improve battery life and thus it’s recommended to keep the OS up to date at all times.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “About phone” > “System updates”
    3. Check if new updates are available
    4. If applicable, follow the prompts to download and apply the update
