    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access “Personal”
    3. Tap “Backup & Reset”
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up data, Wi-Fi passwords, and settings to your backup account
    5. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data, settings, and passwords to be restored automatically when logging in with the backup account or reinstalling apps

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Accounts” and select an account type
    3. Tap the desired account and ensure “Contacts” is checked
    4. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

    NOTE: Contacts can be restored automatically the next time you log in with the backup account or by manually syncing the account data with the phone

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / ‘Media device” on the phone, when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the PC
    4. Locate the media files on the phone
    5. Copy and transfer the files to the backup location on the computer
    6. Once the process completes, eject the phone storage and disconnect the device from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a PC:

    1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” on the phone, at the prompt or from the Notification shade
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the PC
    4. Navigate to the media backup files on the computer
    5. Copy and paste the files to the phone storage in the folders of origin
    6. Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
