    Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down
    2. Access “Settings” > “Display”
    3. Optionally, enable or disable “Adaptive brightness”
    4. Tap “Sleep” for timeout options and select a lower time value

    Enable Battery Saving Mode:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Device”
    3. Tap “Battery” > “Menu”
    4. Enable “Battery saver”

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

    NOTE: You can disable the phone’s connectivity features when not actively in use to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life.

    1. On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down
    2. Tap the “Wi-Fi” “Location” and “Bluetooth” quick toggles to disable the features
    3. Open “Settings” and go to “Location” for GPS options
    4. Tap “Menu” and enable “Battery saving”
    5. Return to “Settings” and expand “Wireless & Networks”
    6. Turn “Tethering & Mobile Hotspot” Off

    Switch to 2G Temporarily:

    NOTE: You can switch to 2G temporarily until the next recharge if the phone runs low on battery and you can’t recharge it.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Expand “Wireless & Networks” and tap “mobile networks”
    3. Tap “Preferred network type”
    4. Select “2G

    Minimize Third-Party App Usage:

    NOTE: Certain third-party apps perform regular background processes which can potentially affect the device’s battery life even when the apps are not in use. By disabling or removing unused third-party apps you can minimize this effect.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Apps” and switch to “All apps” or “Downloaded” if necessary
    3. Select the desired app and tap “Force Stop” / “Disable
    4. To remove the app instead, tap “Uninstall”

    Change Sync Settings:

    NOTE: You can change your accounts’ settings to reduce sync and potentially improve battery life.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type and account
    4. Change the available settings to try and reduce sync as desired

    Keep the OS Updated:

    NOTE: OS updates can improve battery life and it’s recommended to keep the OS updated at all times.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “About phone” > “System updates”
    3. Check if new updates are available
    4. If new updates are available, follow the prompts to complete the process
