    After update smartphones processor & ram needs more power to run & functioning your apps this can effects your battery timing and that's your battery drains fasts

    It's not the battery, it was working perfectly til the update, battery could last 2 days without charging. Plus when restarted it would show same battery percentage.
    You are correct, I like this phone and don't see any reason to spend $800 on phone when this phone does everything I need and want it to do.

    I got a Galaxy Prime 2 and it kept asking to update so I finally did and now the battery drains fast.
    I can restart it and it will drop 30%, do it again and it gains some back. I just put in on a charger and it was dropping 4% per minute, went from 47% to 26% in just a few minutes.
    I did a hard reset to factory settings but it no change. I don't know if it's an Android or Samsung update that's doing it.
    Any suggestions would be helpful.
