    Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “Display”
    3. Optionally, turn “Adaptive brightness” ON or OFF
    4. Tap “Sleep” for timeout duration
    5. Lower the timeout value

    Enable Battery Saving Mode:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Device”
    3. Tap “Battery”
    4. Tap “Menu” and enable “Battery saver”

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

    NOTE: You can turn the phone’s connectivity features Off when they are not actively in use to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Drag the Status bar down
    2. Tap the “Bluetooth” “Wi-Fi” and “Location” quick toggles to disable the features
    3. Open “Settings”
    4. Access “Location” for GPS options and tap “menu”
    5. Enable “Battery saving”
    6. Return to “Settings” and expand “Wireless & Networks”
    7. Turn “Tethering & Mobile hotspot” Off

    Switch to 2G Networks Temporarily:

    NOTE: If your phone runs low on battery and you don’t have access to a wall socket or battery bank, you can conserve energy until the next recharge by switching to temporarily switching to 2G networks.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Expand “Wireless & Networks”
    3. Access “Mobile networks”
    4. Tap “Preferred network type” and enable “2G”

    Change Sync Settings:

    NOTE: You can change the accounts’ sync settings to reduce sync and potentially improve battery life.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type and the desired account
    4. Change the sync settings to reduce sync as desired

    Minimize Third-Party App Usage:

    NOTE: Some third-party apps perform regular background processes which can potentially affect the device’s battery life even when the apps are not actively in use. By removing or disabling unused third-party apps, you can potentially improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access “Apps’
    3. Switch to “All apps” and select the desired app
    4. Tap “Force Stop” or “Disable”
    5. To remove the app, tap “Uninstall”

    Keep the OS Updated:

    NOTE: OS updates can potentially improve battery life and it’s recommended to keep the OS up to date at all times. To check for updates:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access “About phone”
    3. Tap “System updates”
    4. Check if new updates are available and if applicable, follow the prompts to download and apply the updates
