    Enable Battery Saving Mode:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Device” and tap “Battery”
    3. Tap “Menu”
    4. Enable “Battery saver”

    Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Display”
    3. Optionally, enable or disable “adaptive brightness”
    4. For timeout settings, tap “Sleep” and select a lower timeout value

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

    NOTE: You can disable the phone’s connectivity features when they are not actively in use in order to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life.

    1. Swipe the Status bar down
    2. Tap the “Bluetooth” “Wi-Fi” and “Location” quick toggles to turn the features Off
    3. Open “Settings” and go to “Location” for GPS settings
    4. Tap “Menu” > “Enable battery saving”
    5. Return to “Settings” and expand “Wireless & Networks”
    6. Access and disable “Tethering & Mobile hotspot”

    Temporarily Switch to 2G:

    NOTE: If your device runs low on battery and you don’t have quick access to a battery bank or wall socket, you can conserve energy until the next recharge by temporarily switching to 2G networks.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Expand “Wireless & Networks” and tap “mobile networks”
    3. Tap “Preferred network type”
    4. Select “2G” / “GSM”

    Minimize Third Party-App Usage:

    NOTE: Certain third-party apps perform regular background processes which can potentially affect the phone’s battery life even when the apps are not actively in use. By disabling or uninstalling unused third-party apps, you can avoid this and improve battery life.

    1. Launch “Settings” and go to “Apps”
    2. Switch to “All apps” if needed
    3. Tap the desired application
    4. Tap “Force stop” / “Disable “to turn the app off
    5. Alternatively, tap “Uninstall” to remove the app

    Change Sync Settings:

    NOTE: You can change your accounts’ settings to reduce sync and potentially improve battery life.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Accounts” and select an account type
    3. Select an account and change the available settings to reduce sync as desired

    Keep the OS Up To Date:

    NOTE: OS updates can potentially improve battery life and it’s recommended to keep the OS up to date at all times. To check if new updates are available:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “About phone”
    3. Tap “System updates”
    4. Check if new updates are available
    5. If applicable follow the prompts to install updates
