Back Up App Data:

1. Open “Settings” and access “Phone Management”
2. Tap “Backup & Reset”
3. Select “Google Backup”
4. Enable “Back up my data”

Back up Contacts to an LG Account:

1. Open “Settings”
2. Go to “Phone Management”
3. Tap “Backup & Reset” > “LG Backup”
4. Tap “Backup & Restore”
5. Select “Back up my data” and sign in with your LG account
6. Select and expand “Personal data” and make sure the other options are deselected
7. Tick the “Contacts” check box then tap “Start” > “Done”

Back Up Contacts to SD Storage:

1. Launch “Settings”
2. Go to “Phone Management” > “Backup & Reset”
3. Select “LG Backup & Restore”
4. Tap “Backup data”
5. Select “SD card”
6. Tap the desired contacts then tap “Start” > “Done”

Back Up Media Files:

1. Open “Settings”
2. Go to “Backup & Reset” > “LG Backup”
3. Tap “Backup & Restore”
4. Select “Media data” and deselect the other options
5. Expand “Media data” and select the desired files
6. Tap “Start” > “Done”

Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” on the phone, when prompted or from the Notification area
3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
4. Locate the media files or the “.sbf” backup files you want to back up
5. Transfer the files to the desired backup location on the computer
6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
