    Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down
    2. From the notification area, drag the brightness slider towards the left
    3. Open “Settings” > “Display
    4. Tap “Advanced” > “Sleep
    5. Select a lower screen timeout value

    Enable Battery Optimization:

    1. On the home screen, swipe up from the bottom
    2. Open “Settings” and go to “Battery
    3. Tap “Battery optimization
    4. Select an app to optimize it
    5. In addition, you can tap “Menu” and enable “Advanced optimization

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

    NOTE: You can disable the phone’s connectivity features when they are not actively in use to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life.

    1. On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down
    2. Tap the “GPS (Location)” and “Bluetooth” quick toggles to disable the features
    3. Tap and hold the Wi-Fi toggle and tap the switch OFF to disable Wi-Fi
    4. For more options, go to “Settings” and access “Network & Internet
    5. Tap “Hotspot & Tethering” > “Wi-Fi Hotspot
    6. Set the switch OFF to disable Wi-Fi Hotspot

    Uninstall Unused Third-Party Apps:

    NOTE: Certain third-party apps perform regular background processes which can potentially affect the phone’s battery life even when the apps are not actively in use. To avoid third-party apps:

    1. Swipe up on the home screen and open “Settings
    2. Go to “Apps & Notifications
    3. Switch to “See all apps” if necessary
    4. Select the desired app
    5. Tap “Uninstall” > “OK

    Keep the OS Up To Date:

    NOTE: OS updates can improve battery life and it’s recommended to keep the OS up to date at all times.

    1. Swipe up on the home screen from the bottom
    2. Open “Settings
    3. Go to “System” > “System update
    4. Tap “Check for update” and if applicable, follow the prompts to download and apply the updates
