    Enable Battery Optimization:

    1. On the home screen, swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
    2. Open “Settings”
    3. Go to “Battery”
    4. Tap “Battery optimization”
    5. Select an app to optimize and optionally, you can tap “Menu” and enable “Advanced optimization”

    Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. Swipe the Status bar on the home screen
    2. In the quick toggle area, drag the brightness slider towards the left
    3. Open “Settings” > “Display”
    4. Tap “Advanced” > “Sleep”
    5. Select a lower timeout value

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

    NOTE: You can disable the phone’s connectivity features when they are not actively in use to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life in the long run.

    1. On the home screen, swipe up from the bottom
    2. Tap the “GPS (location)” and “Bluetooth” quick toggles to disable the features
    3. Tap and hold the "Wi-Fi” toggle and set the switch OFF to disable Wi-Fi
    4. For additional options, open “Settings” and tap “Network & Internet”
    5. To disable Wi-Fi Hotspot, go to “Hotspot & Tethering” > “Wi-Fi Hotspot” and set the switch OFF

    Uninstall Third-Party App Usage:

    NOTE: Certain third-party apps perform regular background processes which can potentially affect the phone’s battery life even when the apps are not actively in use. To remove third-party apps:

    1. Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
    2. Launch “Settings”
    3. Go to “Apps & Notifications”
    4. Switch to “See all apps” if necessary
    5. Select the desired app and tap “Uninstall”
    6. Tap “OK” to confirm

    Keep the OS Updated:

    NOTE: OS updates can improve battery life and it’s recommended to keep the OS up to date at all times.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Scroll to and tap “System”
    3. Go to “System update”
    4. Tap “Check for update”
    5. Follow the prompts to download and install updates
