    Enable Battery Saver Mode:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Device” and tap “Battery”
    3. Tap “Menu”
    4. Enable “Battery saver”

Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down
    2. From the Notification area, drag the brightness slider towards the left
    3. Open “Settings” for more options
    4. Go to “Display” and optionally, enable or disable “Adaptive brightness”
    5. For timeout options, tap “Sleep” and select a lower value

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

NOTE: You can turn the phone’s connectivity features Off when they are not actively in use to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life.

    1. Swipe the Status bar down on the home screen
    2. Tap the “Bluetooth” > “Wi-Fi” and “Location” quick toggles to disable the features
    3. Open “Settings” and go to “Location”
    4. Tap “Mode” and enable “Battery saving”
    5. Return to “Settings” and expand “Wireless & Networks” then disable “Tethering & Mobile Hotspot”

    Change Sync Settings:

NOTE: You can attempt to improve battery life by changing sync settings to reduce the amount of data synced by your accounts.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type and the desired account
    4. Change the available settings to reduce sync as desired

    Minimize Third-Party App Usage:

NOTE: Some third-party apps perform regular background processes which can potentially affect the device’s battery life when they are not actively in use. You might improve battery life by removing or disabling unused third-party aps.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Apps”
    3. Switch to “All apps” if necessary
    4. Select the desired app and tap “Force Stop” / “Disable”
    5. To remove an app, tap “Uninstall”

Keep the OS Up To Date:

NOTE: OS updates can improve battery life and thus it’s recommended to keep the OS up to date at all times.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “About phone”
    3. Tap “System updates” and check if new updates are available for download
    4. If applicable, follow the prompts and download and apply available updates
