    Clear App Data/Cache:

NOTE: If an app causes issues or takes up too much storage, you should be able to fix it by clearing the app cache or app data. WARNING when clearing the app’s data, all of your personal data stored within the app will be deleted, including custom settings, user profiles, login data etc. To avoid losing personal app data, clear ONLY the app cache.

    1. On the home screen, swipe up from the bottom
    2. Launch “Settings” and go to “Apps & notifications”
    3. Switch to “All apps” if necessary
    4. Select the desired app and tap “Storage”
    5. Tap “Clear cache”
    6. If clearing the app cache didn’t solve the issues, tap “Clear data” (check WARNING above)

Reset App and Network Settings, Factory Reset the Device:

NOTE: Ensure you’ve backed up all of your data before factory resetting the device.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “System” and tap “Reset options”
    3. To reset network settings, go to “Reset Wi-Fi Mobile & Bluetooth”
    4. Tap “Reset’ two times to confirm
    5. To reset app settings, tap “Reset app preferences” > “Reset apps”
    6. To factory reset the phone, tap “Erase all data (Factory reset)”
    7. Then tap “Reset phone” > “Erase Everything”

Reboot to Save Mode and Remove Apps:

NOTE: If a third-party app causes issues and prevents you from removing it, you should be able to uninstall the app while in Safe Mode. In this mode, third-party apps are disabled by default.

    1. Press and hold “Power”
    2. From the power-management pop-up, tap and hold “Power off”
    3. Wait for the device to finish rebooting and a “Safe Mode” watermark should be visible in the lower area of the home screen
    4. Launch “Settings” and tap “Apps & Notifications”
    5. Switch to “All apps” if necessary
    6. Select the desired app and tap “Uninstall” > “OK”
    7. Once done, you can exit Safe Mode by pressing and holding “Power” and rebooting the phone normally
