    Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. Swipe the Status bar down
    2. In the Notification area, drag the brightness slider towards the left
    3. Launch “Settings” for more options and go to “Display”
    4. Optionally, turn “Adaptive brightness” ON or OFF
    5. For timeout options, tap “Sleep” and select a lower value

    Enable Battery Saver Mode:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “Device”
    3. Tap “Battery” > “Menu”
    4. Enable “Battery saver”

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

    NOTE: You can disable the phone’s connectivity features when they are not actively in use to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life.

    1. On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down
    2. Tap the “Bluetooth” “Wi-Fi” and “Location” quick toggles to disable the features
    3. Open “Settings”
    4. Go to “Location” tap “Mode” and enable “Battery saving”
    5. Return to “Settings”
    6. Expand “Wireless & Networks” and disable “Tethering & Mobile Hotspot”

    Change Sync Settings:

    NOTE: You might be able to improve battery life by changing sync settings to reduce the amount of data synced by your accounts.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type and the desired account
    4. Change the available settings to reduce sync as desired

    Minimize Third-Party App Usage:

    NOTE: Certain third-party apps perform regular background processes which can potentially affect the device’s battery life even when the apps are not actively in use. By removing or disabling unused third-party apps you might improve battery life.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access “Apps”
    3. Switch to “All apps” if necessary
    4. Select the desired app
    5. Tap “Force Stop” / “Disable”
    6. To remove an app, tap “Uninstall”

    Keep the OS Updated:

    NOTE: OS updates can improve battery life and it’s recommended to keep the OS up to date at all times.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “About phone”
    3. Tap “System updates”
    4. Check if new updates are available
    5. If so, follow the prompts to download and apply the updates
