    Clear App Cache/Data:

NOTE: If an application causes issues or takes up too much storage, you can try solving these problems by clearing the app’s cache or data. WARNING! When you clear an app’s data, all of your data stored within the app will be deleted, including custom settings, login information, user profiles etc. To avoid losing personal app data, clear ONLY the app cache.

    1. Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
    2. Launch “Settings
    3. Go to “Apps & Notifications
    4. Switch to “All apps
    5. Select the desired app and tap “Storage” > “Clear cache
    6. If clearing the app cache didn’t fix the issues, tap “Clear data

Reset Network and App Settings, Factory Reset the Phone:

NOTE: Before factory resetting the device, ensure you have backed up all of your data.

    1. Launch “Settings” and access “System
    2. Tap “Reset options
    3. To reset network settings, go to “Reset Wi-Fi Mobile & Bluetooth” and tap “Reset” two times
    4. To reset app settings, access “Reset app preferences” > “Reset apps
    5. To factory reset the phone, tap “Erase all data (Factory Reset)” > “Reset phone” > “Erase everything

Reboot to Safe Mode and Remove an App:

NOTE: If a third-party app causes issues and prevents you from uninstalling it, you should be able to remove the app while in Safe Mode where all third-party apps are disabled by default.

    1. Press and hold “Power
    2. From the power management pop-up, tap and hold “Power Off
    3. Wait for the phone to finish rebooting and once done, a “Safe Mode” watermark should be visible in the lower area of the home screen
    4. Open “Settings
    5. Access “Apps & Notifications
    6. Switch to “All apps” and select the desired app
    7. Tap “Uninstall” > “OK
    8. To exit Safe Mode, reboot your phone normally
