    Enable Battery Optimization:

    1. On the home screen, swipe up from the bottom
    2. Open “Settings” and go to “Battery
    3. Tap “Battery optimization
    4. Select the apps you want to optimize
    5. In addition, you can tap “Menu” and enable “Advanced optimization

    Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. Swipe the Status bar down on the home screen
    2. Drag the brightness slider towards the left in the quick toggle area
    3. Open “Settings” and go to “Display” for more options
    4. Access “Advanced” and tap “Sleep
    5. Select a lower timeout value

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

    NOTE: You can disable the phone’s connectivity features when they are not actively in use to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life.

    1. Swipe the Status bar down on the home screen
    2. Tap the “GPS (Location)” and “Bluetooth” quick toggles to disable these features
    3. Tap and hold the “Wi-Fi” toggles and set the switch OFF
    4. For more options, open “Settings
    5. Go to “Network & Internet
    6. To disable hotspot, tap “Hotspot & Tethering” > “Wi-Fi Hotspot” and set the switch OFF

    Uninstall Third-Party App Usage:

    NOTE: Certain third-party apps perform regular background processes and this can potentially affect the phone’s battery life even when the apps are not actively in use. To remove third-party apps:

    1. Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
    2. Go to “Settings
    3. Access “Apps & Notifications
    4. Switch to “See all apps
    5. Select the desired app and tap “Uninstall
    6. Tap “OK

    Keep the OS Updated:

    NOTE: OS updates can improve battery life and it’s recommended to keep the OS updated at all times.

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Scroll to and tap “System
    3. Tap “System update” > “Check for update
    4. Follow the prompts to download and apply the updates
