    Clear App Data/Cache:

NOTE: If an app causes issues or takes up too much storage inexplicably, you can try fixing the issues by clearing the app cache or data. WARNING: by clearing an app’s data, all of your personal data stored within the app will be deleted, including save files, login data, settings etc. will be deleted. To avoid losing personal app data, clear ONLY the app cache:

    1. Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
    2. Open “Settings” and go to “Apps & Notifications”
    3. Ensure you view “All apps” and select the desired app
    4. Tap “Storage” > “Clear cache”
    5. If clearing the app cache didn’t solve the issues, tap “Clear data” (check the Warning above)

Reset Network and App Settings, Factory Reset:

NOTE: Ensure you’ve backed up all of your data from the phone before factory resetting the device, or you will lose your data.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “System” and tap “Reset options”
    3. To reset app settings, tap “Reset app preferences” > “reset apps”
    4. To reset network settings, tap “Reset Wi-Fi, Mobile & Bluetooth” and tap “Reset settings” two times
    5. To factory reset the phone, tap “Erase all data (Factory Reset)” > “Reset Phone”
    6. Tap “Erase Everything” to confirm

    Uninstall Apps in Safe Mode:

NOTE: If a third-party app causes issues and prevents you from removing it, you should be able to uninstall the app while in Safe Mode. In this mode, all of your third-party apps are disabled by default.

    1. Press and hold “Power”
    2. In the Power Management pop-up, tap and hold “Power off”
    3. Once the phone finishes rebooting, a “Safe Mode” watermark should be visible in the lower area of the home screen
    4. To remove an app, open “Settings” and access “Apps & Notifications”
    5. Ensure you view “All apps” and select the desired app
    6. Tap “Uninstall” > “OK”
    7. To exit Safe Mode, press and hold “Power” and reboot your phone normally
