    Clear App Cache/Data:

NOTE: If an app causes problems or takes up too much storage inexplicably, you can try fixing these issues by clearing the app’s cache or data. WARNING! When you clear an app’s data, all of your data stored within the app will be deleted, such as user profiles, custom settings, login data etc. To avoid losing personal app data, clear ONLY the app’s cache.

    1. Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
    2. Launch “settings”
    3. Go to “Apps & Notifications”
    4. Switch to “All apps” if necessary
    5. Select the desired app
    6. Tap “Storage” > “Clear cache”
    7. If clearing the app cache didn’t fix the issues, tap “Clear data”

Reset Network and App Settings, Factory Reset the Phone:

NOTE: Before factory resetting the phone, make sure you’ve backed up all of your data.

    1. Launch “Settings” and go to “System”
    2. Tap “Reset options”
    3. To reset network settings, access “Reset Wi-Fi Mobile & Bluetooth”
    4. Tap “Reset” two times to confirm
    5. To reset app settings, tap “Reset app preferences” and tap “Reset apps”
    6. To factory reset the device, tap “Erase all data (Factory Reset)” > “Reset phone”
    7. Tap “Erase everything”

Reboot to Safe Mode and Uninstall an App:

NOTE: If a third-party app causes problems and prevents you from removing it, you should be able to remove the app while in Safe Mode where all third-party apps are disabled.

    1. Press and hold “Power” on the home screen
    2. Tap and hold “Power Off” from the power management pop-up
    3. Wait for the phone to finish rebooting and you should see a “Safe Mode” watermark in the lower area of the home screen
    4. Launch “Settings”
    5. Go to “Apps & Notifications” and switch to “All apps”
    6. Select the desired app and tap “Uninstall” > “OK”
    7. To exit Safe Mode, press and hold “Power” and reboot the device normally
