    Enable Battery Optimization:

    1. Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
    2. Launch “Settings” and go to “Battery”
    3. Tap “Battery optimization”
    4. Select an app to optimize
    5. Optionally, you can tap “Menu” and enable “Advanced optimization”

    Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. Swipe the Status bar down
    2. Drag the brightness slider towards the left
    3. Open “Settings”
    4. Access “Display”
    5. Tap “Advanced” > “Sleep”
    6. Select a lower timeout value

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

    NOTE: You can turn the phone’s connectivity features OFF when they are not actively in use to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life.

    1. Swipe the Status bar down on the home screen
    2. Tap the “GPS (Location)” and “Bluetooth” quick toggles to disable the features
    3. To disable Wi-Fi, tap and hold the quick toggle and set the switch OFF
    4. Open “Settings”
    5. Go to “Network & Internet” > “Hotspot & Tethering”
    6. Tap “Wi-Fi Hotspot” and set the switch OFF

    Remove Third-Party Apps:

    NOTE: Third-party apps can perform regular background processes and this can potentially affect the device’s battery life even when the apps are not actively in use. You can potentially improve battery life by removing unused third-party apps.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “Apps & Notifications”
    3. If necessary, switch to “See all apps”
    4. Select the app you want to remove
    5. Tap “Uninstall” > “OK”

    Keep the OS Updated:

    NOTE: OS updates can improve battery life and it’s recommended to keep the firmware updated at all times.

    1. On the home screen, swipe up from the bottom
    2. Launch “Settings”
    3. Scroll to and tap “System”
    4. Tap “System updates” > “Check for updates”
    5. If new updates are available, follow the prompts to download and apply them
